The trackplan for the layout has been finalized. After a lot of sketching, the final plan is for a O layout set on four 2'x4' sections and one 3'x4' section filling an overall 6'x12' space. Much of the design follows the original arrangement of the spur which served the property and includes two show buildings. While the plan may seem simple, the operations will be quite complex. I'll cover this at a later date but the general idea will be to have several cars which have been delivered on the interchange track by the paint store and need to be spotted at the Young Building or in the siding (which are already filled with cars being unloaded). About five cars will fit on the layout which will make this a challenge (especially if you can't leave anything on the grade crossings...).
